What do u mean duh. lighthouse keeper?! this make no sense and i still don't understand how he caused the deaths of "several hundred" people... i could understand if the number was smaller, but jeez....
Light house keeper? Now what dateless middle aged virgin that lives with his mother spent their wasted time writing this? It makes no sense! I figured he slept for many years and people were all standing around outside freezing their buts off waiting for him to answer the door, once again thes puzzles illude me...
*defeated sigh*
i wouldn't call the person a dateless middle aged virgin that lives with their mother.i mean, are you saying that you could write a better one?i thought that was one of the most challenging ones i ever read.pretty good if you ask me.my friends couldn't answer that one, even my teacher couldn't,and jeez, if he can't then whoa thats one good lateral thinking problem!!!

Actualy, it used to be very common for lighthouses to be built as part of a livable home. This was because it was necesary for the lighthouse to remain lit ALL the time and simply having people live at it was a frequently used solution to have someone there to monitor it all the time. As such, it was also common for those who were hermits, or social recluses to be the ones to volunteer. It was a perfect job for those sort of people as food and housing is provided. If the person who lived here put the light out, or failed to notice that it had gone out and left it that way through the night, it could easily cause the death of sailors on a ship.
