2. the surgeon is also a priest and knows the boy from church and calls him "son"
#7 - person - 11/21/2007 - 18:18
the father was the priest and got killed and the surgeon was his realfather
#8 - better - 12/07/2007 - 07:09
The real answer.
The surgeon was a ghost.
#9 - snotgunge - 01/06/2008 - 02:56
in a world without prejudice
the surgeon is male and is the "life-partner" of the man who died int he crash

or

the guy who died in the crash used to be the boy's mother but had undergone sex change procedures

I don't get it...why can't a mother operate on her son??
#21 - fern - 07/23/2008 - 11:52
How Simpel !!!!!!
The father was a surgeon. After he died he turned into a ghost. I never heard of any ghost can operate. Son or no son.
#22 - zinan - 08/09/2008 - 15:24
An alternate solution
This one based on unspecificness in the Q.
Scenario: A,B,C,D are related as A's son is B and B's son is C.C's son is D.

In car B and C travelled. C(The father of D) dies and the child of A i.e B is taken to hospital where A is the male/female surgeon.
:)....heee...a bit too long..right

Funny Solution
I feel when the boy was taken to hospital in emergency wheel bed the attendres may drunken and they mistakenly exchanged the bed (same aged another guy also met accident)and his father or mother was a surgen. That's why they denied to do surgery. But the surgen missing a golden chance he indirectly help the boy to escape from death....kesavan markantony_07@yahoo.com
#27 - Kesavan - 10/21/2008 - 17:05
That's impossible, everyone knows that women can't be surgeons
#28 - Tyler - 11/07/2008 - 16:00
HOLY COW
This one is SO OLD it was on "All In The Family" back in the early 70's!
#29 - hodahoda - 11/10/2008 - 14:12
hmm..
firstly..
to Tyler :
Why can't a women be surgeons ?

and if the surgeon is his real dad or his mother.
shouldn't they do their best to save the kid instead of wasting time saying i cannot operate, end up needing to find another surgeon which by the time the kid might already die.
