if you look at two individuals in a set of triplets or quadruplets then I'm pretty sure those two are still twins in comparison to each other.

although very rare, a mother can give birth to more than one child and have them not be twins. look it up it has happened.

derek - I don't think that's true. You can have fraternal twins, but if they're conceived at the same time and birthed at the same time then they're twins, no matter what.
