There is a horse tied to a 10 meter rope. there is a bale of hay 11 meters away. the horse is able to get it without breaking the rope in any way. how? |

The length of horse would be more than 1 mtr......hence it could reach easily |

Sure its possible. Since the horse is tied to a 10 metres rope, it can go diagonally for 20 metres. The hay is just 11 metres i.e. inside the circular area that the horse can cover. Simple :o |

two possible meaningful answers....the other end isn't tied or the rope is tied to the tail of the horse(1m or more longer) |

OR
the horse un-did the knot. Horses are incredible animals and undo things like that all the time. |

The horse and bale are on opposite sides of whatever the horse is anchored to. (ie the horse could be 5 metres to the right of the post, and the bale could be 6 metres left of the post. 11 metres apart, but a horse on a 10m rope, anchored to the post, could reach both)
If you take this to the extreme, the horse could be standing 10m to the right of the post and the bale could be 10m to the left, meaning a horse on a 10m rope can reach a bale 20m away |
