Peg Board

Fri Jun 13, 2008 3:55 am  by tartle

I have 7 pegs on a board, 3 to the left have blue rings and three to the right have red rings, the centre peg is empty.
Advise in turn how l can get the 3 blue and the 3 red to opposite ends of the board. You can not move backwards.

While Tyer's answer is clearly impressive and well thought out and seems to involve a series of jumping one peg over the other, nothing was ever mentioned that would prevent one from simply removing ALL the pegs and placing them where you want them. :-)
