five cards have been laid out, all are between ace(1) and ten. Each card shows a different value. All four suits are represented. NO three of the cards form a consecutive sequence of numbers.
The total value of the red cards is the same as the total of the black cards.
The total vaule of hearts is 12.
The even-value cards have a total four higher than the sum of the odd-value cards.
The club has a lower value than the spade. The lowest card is a diamond.
Find out which 5 cards have been dealt. |

MY SOLUTION
6 of hearts plus four of hearts does not equal a total of 12.
I found two possible answers though. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Solution 1: 9 of hearts, 3 of hearts, 2 of diamonds, 8 of spades, and 6 of clubs
Solution 2: 7 of hearts, 5 of hearts, 2 of diamonds, 10 of spades, and 4 of clubs
Both seem to meet the criteria. |
