 Thu Jan 17, 2013 11:36 pm  by tartle An artist needs to arrange seven paintings on the wall of a room in an art gallery. the apaintings must be placed in consecutive order, 1st through 7th. Four of the paintings--Picasso, Benton, Tamayo, RIvera--are landscapes. THe rest van Gogh, GOya, matisse--are portraits. 1. the fifth painting must be a portrait. 2. portraits cannot be next to one another. 3. THe Goya is second. 4. If benton is the first, the the Tamayo is seventh. 5.THe RIvera cannot be placed in a lower numbered position than the Van Gogh. 6. The Picasso cannot be next to the Goya.
 Tue Aug 13, 2013 3:11 pm  by Red i'm assuming that as long as the Benton isn't first it doesn't matter where it or the Tamayo Goes 1st -7th Tamayo,Goya,Benton,Picasso,vanGogh,Rivera,matisse let me know if i've misunderstood the limitations

 Tue Feb 23, 2016 6:12 pm  by ArmyMP84 Red is correct on the order: Tamayo, Goya, Benton, Picasso, Van Gogh, Rivera, Matisse Rajat789 is incorrect, placing the Goya and Van Gogh next to each other violates rule #2 that portraits cannot be placed next to each other.
