IT DAWNED ON HIM BECAUSE HE WAS HALF A MILE FROM THE HOTEL, HAD ARRIVED AT SUNRISE BECAUSE HE RAN OUT OF PETROL AND REALISED THAT ALTHOUGH HE HAD LOTS OF MONEY HE WAS BANKRUPT OF IDEAS. HE HAD HAD AN IDEA TO TAKE A SIDE-TURNING 20 MILES BACK but but had ignored his own intuition. INTUITION can be a powerful part of lateral thinking!!
