He was struck by a car that did not see him walking in the street.

he could of had a hard attack or he could of had been struck by a car or have been bit by a poisonous animal

maybe he died of sadness or dehydration from crying to much.
Gerbils can die of loneliness why can't people?

The answer is : Death is inevitable .The information given in the question is irrelevant , it does matter whether it was 12 midnight or that he was walking in the middle of the street alone. The words ' died later on ' simply mean he died some other day ( probably from suicide since he was lonely ) after that night.

The previous night he accidentally overdosed on Paracetamol. He was crying because he knew that he would soon die of liver failure. Then he did.
