The man who killed the old man had probably been framed and convicted of his murder. Legally you can't be condemned for the same crime twice ... Did I get it right? :D

The old man was the president of the United States. He traditionally throws out the first ball at the start of baseball season each year. He meant to throw far outside, but missed. The ball went into the strike zone, so the batter felt obligated to hit it. He unfortunately hit a line drive to the president's head.
