22. Three Kings

the three kings are taking a journey together in an isolated dessert, yet they remain a stranger to each other. Each of them have a diary where they recorded all their journey. The 1st king wrote that he saw two kings following him while walking. The second king wrote that he saw two kings walking at his front. The third king wrote that he is alone in his journey and he never seen anyone.

how did it happen?

Solution:

The three kings are walking in a straight line. The first king sees the second and third kings behind him, the second king sees the first king in front of him and the third king behind him, and the third king, being at the back, sees no one else. Thus, each king's perspective explains their writings in their diaries.

* public execution
* beating punishment resulted death due to his old age
* it was a fight to death competition.
* The person who killed was the king of the land, so no one dared to arrest him.
* the man was a sniper. so they were at different locations, so connections couldn't be made imminently.

the three kings are walking in a straight line and they were walking backwards

The third king, walking in the middle, is blind, therefore he never saw one of the other two. They cannot have been too close together because he didn't hear them or touch them either, but since they are in the desert, two of the kings can see very far.
