A man wanted to enter a CLUB
Every member knew the password,
The man was hidden besides the wall & tried to listen the pasword.

A member came, watchman said 'TWELVE'
Member replied 6,
Watchman opened door.

Another member came, watchman said 'SIX'
Member replied 3,
Watchman opened door.

Man thought he got d PASWORD
He went at door,
Watchman said 'EIGHT'
Man replied 4, Watchman din't opened door.

What was d PASSWORD?

Solution:

The password is the number of letters in the word that the watchman says. For example, 'TWELVE' has 6 letters, and 'SIX' has 3 letters. When the watchman said 'EIGHT', the man incorrectly replied with 4 instead of the correct answer, which is 5, as 'EIGHT' has 5 letters.
