Two women on a balcony see two men coming. One says to the other: Here come our fathers, husbands of our mothers, fathers of our children, and our own husbands. Is this possible and why?

Consider family relationships and how they can overlap.

Solution:

Yes, it is possible. The two women are wives of the men who are coming, and each man is also the father of the children of the woman who is speaking.

Father A has a daughter (Woman A), and Father B has a daughter (Woman B). Woman A marries Father B, and Woman B marries Father A.

Therefore, each man is the husband of his mother and the father of the children of his wife.
