119. Cannibal's Final Statement
You were hiking in a remote jungle when you got caught by logic-loving cannibals. The chief of the cannibals said to you, "You may now make one last statement. If your statement is true, we will burn you at the stake. If your statement is false, we will boil you in oil." What statement should you say so that the cannibals have no choice but to let you go?

Solution:
You should say, "You will boil me in oil." If this statement is true, they must burn you at the stake, which makes it false. If it is false, they must boil you in oil, which makes it true. Therefore, they cannot carry out either punishment and must let you go.
